Out of Hours
Out of hours cover is provided by Wiltshire Medical Services between 6.30pm and 8.00am and from 6.30pm Friday until 8.00am Monday. Patients will be offered appropriate advice or a consultation at Savernake hospital, if medically necessary a doctor will make a home visit.

Telephone Advice
The doctors and nurses are available for telephone advice. Please ring in the morning before 10.30am if possible, and the doctor or nurse will return your call

Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone or use the link at the bottom of this page to cancel your appointment. By giving us as much notice as you can you are helping us to make sure that someone else is given your slot.

Please try to telephone reception as early as possible if you require a home visit.

A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.
